Hi I'm a predigree Siberian Husky, most humans know my famous ancestor Balto.My breeders originally came from North East Siberian, in Russia near 3'000 years ago. My ancestors first human owners where the Chukchi people. they were and still are a loving tribe and still use us even today.It all started many years ago, in the 1890's Gold an expensive material even today was found for the 1st time in Alaska, many humans came from all over the world, seeking the fortunes of the Gold materials.There was one thing that caused problems to the prospectors was the hazorouds trerrain, and so locals used my ancestors to pull a man made sled which help transporting food and much needed medical supplies across the vast landscape.I can grow to as big as 20-22 inches and males can grow up to 23.5 inches.My ideal weight is between 16-23Kgs and my male partners ideal weight ranges from 20-27kgs

This is Balto my great great ancestor, he is famous for the survival of the humans in 1925 in a human place called Nome.In 1925 a horrible diesease broke out in Nome, called Diphtheria and this diesease became an epidemic.The closest anti toxic medication was in Anchorage which was many many miles away from Nome.Because of the hazordous landscape, man made vehicles couldnt make the long journey over the vast lanscape, so the humans used a selection of nearby Huskies, to help deliver the medical supplies by pulling a human on a man made sled across the vast harsh landscape.

Remember I'm a Siberian Husky, I'm designed to survive in harsh minus temperature conditions in Siberia or Alaska, it is exstremely dangerous for me to work or play in temp above 15 Celsius, if i get too hot i could suffer heat stroke which can be fatal

No1 Fravorite Sport.......

Sled pulling is my fravorite sport, I love working in a team but I have been know to pull a light sled on my own... The feeling of pulling weight makes me feel fantastic after all its been in my nature to pull a sled since my first ancestors. I need to be taught commands on which direction to go when im pulling the sled. These commands are used by a human and they are :

Haw - which means left

Gee - which means right

On by - which means keep going straight

Woww - which means Stop

2nd Place Fravorite Sport is...

Skijoring.. this is a sport where i have to run with my human pack leader, obviously I'm a lot quicker than a human so the game is decided by the humans speed.

In winter when theres snow the human pack leader wears skis and this is just purely a race against time based on my speed alone.

3rd Place has to be.....

Scandinavian pulka Racing.... This is just like sled racing but differant in the way that i pull a small cart loaded with the maximum weight i can pull on my own. This is based on whom has the quickest time once again...

Other Sports i love are....

Bike Pulling.. this is dangeous if you use a normal bike, bikes are specially made for this sport for me which have a small bar attached to the front to attach my lead to. This prevents it getting tangled in the wheels..

Skating... this is where the human pack leader wears skates and i pull him on his skates.

Sacco Dog Cart... this is like the Scandinavian Pulka Racing, but where the Human Pack leader sits on the cart instead of the weight.
